Welcome to my collection of home-studio recordings.
As well as practicing by covering songs, I also write original songs. They are generally in different states of being unfinished but range from first sketches to finished pieces. The numbers at the end give a rough guide to how many times I've been back to work on a song.
I record through a Griffen i-mic into a Mac G4 and use Apple Garageband to mix tracks. I usually use the Doggiebox drum sequencer software for drums and sometimes Garagebnd drum loops.
I have a black strat, and a Tanglewood semi-acoustic. My guitar effects pedal is a multieffects Digitech pedal - RP100 though mostly I use effects only in Garageband. Also connected is a expression pedal for wah phrasing. For keyboards, I use Oxygen8 midi keyboard.
My musical influences include: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Ween, Barclay James Harvest, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, XTC, The Smiths & Morrissey as well as Welsh bands Jess, Anhrefn, SFA.
